Cassandra Earle-Hazell
HEB Solutions is an Educational Services Support provider, led by proprietress and consultant Cassandra Earle-Hazell. Through HEB Solutions, Cassandra’s primary goal is to facilitate success in education through, clarity of curricula content for learners, up-skilling of the labor force for enterprises, and engineering effective administrative and operational strategies in educational organizations.
Cassandra completed her Master of Education degree in Organizational Management and is the holder of a Bachelor of Science degree (double major) in Economics and Accounting with honors. She is also the holder of Certificates in Designing and Facilitating E-Learning (Level 5), Caribbean Vocational Qualification (CVQ) Level 4 in Assessment, and Vocational Teacher’s Training in Adult Education.
As a trained educator, Cassandra has taught at the primary, secondary, and post-secondary levels with most of her time spent in tertiary education. She spent ten (10) years at the Samuel Jackman Prescod Institute of Technology, where she got involved in campus life outside of the classroom and was lauded on many occasions for her contributions, one of which included the initiation of the Samuel Jackman Prescod Memorial Lecture, now in its seventeenth year. During this time, she tutored in microeconomics and macroeconomics at the University of the West Indies (UWI) and the UWI's Open Campus before migrating to teach at the Berkeley Institute in Bermuda.
Upon her return to Barbados, she managed a private sector entity with responsibility for its day to day, finance, procurement, and human resource operations. This grew an interest in entrepreneurship, and she created HEB Solutions and worked as a freelance consultant engaging her numerous skills. As an Instructional Designer, she has created course content and delivered online learning for the Open and Flexible Learning Centre, a division of the Samuel Jackman Prescod Institute of Technology. As consultant, she engaged in different roles within organizations and worked closely with the management and staff, repeatedly meeting targets and providing exceptionally high quality work that spoke for itself; gaining her additional contractual engagements in the area of leadership administration in education organizations. Cassandra is currently the President of the Samuel Jackman Prescod Polytechnic and Institute of Technology Alumni Association and a former Board of Director at the Barbados Vocational Training Board. Ms Earle-Hazell has a love for people and human capital development and continues to inspire those in her sphere of influence.
